things I've made in Tomodachi Life that I can't share on TikTok

So TikTok is pretty much my only social media right now. I barely use it aside from posting, and I only use it because out of all the social media I've ever used, including threads, bluesky, twitter, Quora, Facebook, YouTube, and Instagram, TikTok has been the only one to actually help me get a small amount of recognition for my work. So, I stick with it. And now and then I like to share what games I'm playing or other projects unrelated to my comics and books. A game I've been playing a lot of is Tomodachi life. And, being that TikTok once nearly banned me because I posted a picture of me with an egg roll in my mouth and their all-knowing AI thought it was a penis, I am extremely careful with what I post on there. So, a lot of the fun I've been having in Tomodachi life can't really be shared on there if I want to avoid my account being shackled. To all religious folks who voted for this regime This is God telling you: you fucked up. And anybody who lost benefits directly because of this regime's bullshit should be fucking FURIOUS right now. Money was taken from YOU and put towards an endless non-issue regarding the appearance of a goddamn POOL. forget all the other asinine taxpayer funded projects Trump has been popping off left and right, this is one that is just straight up becoming a money sink. But YOUR healthcare, your ability to support your family, money that was supposed to feed your CHILDREN, that was all cut so the President could say "Look at this beautiful blue pool!" But the pool isn't blue, your kids aren't fed, your healthcare treatments will be out of pocket, and a cabal of narcissistic psychopaths are running the government, because YOU hated trans and brown people too much. inspiration

I frequently wonder (and worry) that people will find it "weird" that I've been inspired by them in some way. As if they know I had them in mind when making a character or when developing a plot point, as if it's not a normal human thing to take what we see in the world and form it into something new through creation. There is always this icky feeling in the back of my head that I'm doing something wrong when I do that, when I'm inspired by someone else. I always blame my dad for that icky feeling. He's been gone 5 years now, but he was the first person to shame me for my interests. Plenty others have since, I was a lonely teenager with too much time to dedicate to random bullshit, of course I was gonna get told off for it, but it hurts so much more when it's a parent telling you your interests are too intense.
